ABOUT US
If you are looking for a calm, individualized approach to preschool, you've come to the right place! My name is Winnona (Ms. Noni). I am an experienced preschool and pre-k teacher, and have background in homeschooling and in-home care. I decided to create Little Leaders because I recognized that a crowded one-size-fits-all environment was not the best fit for every child, academically, or socially. There is a need for children to have more freedom and flexibility to develop at their own pace, with more individualized attention, during their preparation for kindergarten.
Little Leaders is a home-based preschool program for children ages 2 through 5 years. Young children who spend their day at Little Leaders will learn to think, reason, experiment, and create, all while in a nurturing home environment.

The Whole Child
Outdoor Play
Fresh air is an essential nutrient! We will be outside everyday, weather permitting, taking walks, playing, gardening, and learning about nature.
Early Academics
Children need to be allowed to develop at their own pace during their journey towards kindergarten. At Little Leaders, we use a curriculum that can be scaffolded to multiple levels within the same units and lessons. We also use inspiration from Montessori and Reggio - Emilia to give children multiple ways to learn through self-discovery and play.
Artistic Expression
We believe that art is the basis of human expression. Children will be able to express themselves using many art forms at Little Leaders. We will spend time regularly doing art projects and doing music and dance activities.
Imaginative Play
"Play is the work of the child." -Maria Montessori
At Little Leaders play will be treated as the most important foundation for growth and learning.
Social-Emotional Learning
A child who has a strong sense of self is a child ready to take on the world. We use the Love Powered Littles set to foster emotional well-being here at Little Leaders.
STEM Exploration
What better way to marvel at the wonders of the world than through STEM activities! Kids at Little Leaders will often be presented with STEM challenges and sensory experiences that relate to our themes.
Fun in the Kitchen
Your kiddos will get cooking in our kitchen! On a bi-weekly basis the children at Little Leaders will have the opportunity to engage in safe, engaging, and fun food preparation activities!
Character Building
Little Leaders is run in an inclusive and accepting Christian home. The diversity of mankind is valued and actively celebrated here. We will regularly have bible lessons, as well as a variety of books and media that showcase all the kinds of people that God put on this Earth.
