ABOUT US
If you are looking the best of both worlds between preschool and home, you've come to the right place! My name is Winnona (Ms. Noni). I am an experienced preschool teacher, and have background in in-home care/homeschooling. I decided to create Little Leaders because I recognized that a crowded daycare environment is not the best fit for every child, academically, or socially. There is a need for children to have more freedom and flexibility to develop at their own pace, with more individualized attention, while still being prepared for kindergarten.
Little Leaders is a home-based learning center for children ages 18 months through 5 years. Young children who spend their day at Little Leaders will learn to think, reason, experiment, and create, all while in a nurturing home environment.

The Whole Child
OUTDOOR PLAY
Fresh air is an essential nutrient! We will be outside everyday, weather permitting, taking walks, playing, gardening, and learning about nature.
EARLY ACADEMICS
While children do need to be prepped for kindergarten, we know that children do not learn the at the same pace or in the same manner. Our curriculum pulls from Montessori and Reggio-Emilia techniques, as well as utilizing each child's personal learning style. With our program, your child will be presented with many engaging opportunities to work on their early literacy and math skills, at their own pace, in a style that works for them.
ARTISTIC EXPRESSION
We believe that art is the basis of human expression. Children will be able to express themselves using many art forms such as visual arts, music, and dance.
IMAGINATIVE PLAY
"Play is the work of the child." -Maria Montessori
At Little Leaders play will be treated as the most important foundation for growth and learning.
SOCIO-EMOTIONAL LEARNING
A child who has a strong sense of self is a child ready to take on the world. We use the Love Powered Littles set to foster emotional well-being here at Little Leaders.
STEM EXPLORATION
What better way to marvel at the wonders of the world than through STEM activities! Kids at Little Leaders will often be presented with STEM challenges and sensory experiences that relate to our themes.
FUN IN THE KITCHEN
Your kiddos will get cooking in our kitchen! On a bi-weekly basis the children at Little Leaders will have the opportunity to engage in safe, engaging, and fun food preparation activities!
CHARACTER BUILDING
Little Leaders is run in an inclusive and accepting Christian home. The diversity of mankind is valued and actively celebrated here. We will regularly have bible lessons, as well as a variety of books and media that showcase all the kinds of people that God put on this Earth.
